U2 concert ticket from Apr. 28, 1997, the U2 Popmart Tour 97 at San Diego Jack Murphy Stadium; size 2” x 3 3/8” in good condition with minor wear.  I remember this concert well.  It was in a huge stadium; opening act was Rage Against the Machine.  The band really filled up the venue with music and light and energy.  It was one of the best concerts I have ever seen!
This ticket comes from my personal collection of music memorabilia.  I have always been into music.  In the 1970s I did concert reviews for a local newspaper, the San Marcos Outlook.  In the 1980s I worked concert security at the San Diego State University Open Air Theater.  Later, I had my own music zine, "Punk Research," so I collected quite a few unique items over the years.  I went to lots of concerts.  This was one of them!  I saved an artifact from that night!  Maybe you were there too?  Here's a souvenir.
