Details regarding the glitter laminate
- This material is extremely unique and beautiful! It's a 4mil clear cast vinyl laminate infused with thousands of metallic flecks.
Not only will it take your artwork to the next level with its brilliant image-enhancing capabilities but it will also protect your ink from water and abrasion to extend its life.
There are a couple different methods of application - this material is designed to be used with a cold roll laminator but can also be applied using a peel-and-stick method as it has a permanent solvent-based acrylic adhesive. It works well with both cast and calendered vinyls. If you will be applying the laminate before cutting your graphics on a plotter, you will need to increase the cutting force. This material can easily be used with personal craft cutting machines such as Cricut or Cameo as well as professional-grade cutters like Roland or Graphtec.
The possibilities for this material are endless. It can turn any vinyl or substrate into something completely new! It can also be used alone and cut into shapes to add ghost effects to any existing materials!
There are a number of alternative uses for laminate, as well - cut a piece the exact size of your laptop's mousepad to protect it from your skin's oils, use it as a cell phone screen protector, or protect your children's precious artwork and even your wedding photos. You can also protect a freshly-painted or finished surface (think furniture, etc.).
Details regarding the glossy vinyl
- The film is .10 mm (or 1 mil) in thickness and is ideal for the personal craft machine such as the Cricut or Cameo, professional plotters such as Rolland or Graphtec, and any desktop or wide-format dye or pigment inkjet printers.
